Lake Arbor Community Day Saturday, July 10, 2004
Planning for Lake Arbor Community Day, to be held Saturday, July 10, 2004, is well underway. The Planning Committee is excited and bubbling with tremendous enthusiasm in anticipation of another successful event. Every effort is being made to make the 2004 Lake Arbor Community Day a most memorable event for families and friends in Lake Arbor and the surrounding communities. The Lake Arbor Community Day newsletter (special edition), scheduled for distribution in June, will highlight the attractions, entertainment, food, prizes, and games that will be available during the event. We are especially excited about some new activities for adults. Several talented groups have already signed up to provide entertainment during Lake Arbor Community Day. If you have talent to share, please contact Chuck Wood, Entertainment Chairperson, at 301-499-4786. The entertainment slots are filling up fast, so contact Chuck as soon as possible to assure a slot for you or your group. As always, volunteers are needed for the many tasks
associated with Lake Arbor Community Day. Please call Herman
Murrell, Chairperson, 301-336-6964, if you can volunteer. Volunteers
always have lots of fun, and every volunteer will receive special
recognition at an awards program on Thursday, October 14, 2004. |
